摘要
Objective: to present the situational diagnosis of cesarean birth in women of habitual obstetric risk. Methodology: cross-sectional, documental study, carried out in a public reference maternity hospital in the state of Amapa. Data were collected on obstetric interventions and indications of cesarean deliveries in medical records of 30 women who were in the medical and statistical archive service in August 2016. Results: the records showed that the use of oxytocin and partograph were the most used obstetric interventions in labor assistance; Among the main indications of cesarean delivery were acute fetal distress and previous cesarean section. Conclusion: most indications of cesarean delivery do not meet the current recommendations of the literature.
