DISPLACEMENTS OF POLITICIZATION IN DISCOURSE: A SEMIOTIC LOOK AT WOMEN IN POLITICS

This article aims to analyze, among the "places" political discourse, feminine gender and the media, the enunciative construction movement of identity of political women in Brazil. In this sense, an article is analyzed about Manuela D'Avila, at that time federal deputy of Rio Grande do Sul, published in the magazine Isto E, which presents, according to the unequal relations between genders, how power operates in the media production of identity feminine. It seeks, therefore, to peer the feminine political discourse, in a semiotic perspective, observing some prohibitions and permissions of the media, when characterizing the woman in the politics. To interpret these statements is also to show how the discourse can be seen under the effect of the representation of the feminine that crosses borders and redefines chronologies according to the historical experience of women in politics.
