DIDACTIC MODEL FOR SIGNIFICANT LEARNING IN CONTROL SYSTEMS

摘要
The intention of the present investigation was to develop a didactic model for the significant learning in the automatic systems of control in public official universities of the city of Maracaibo. For it was applied to an experimental design with pre-test and post-test to a sample of 48 students, two different sections corresponding to the professional Cycle of the Faculty of Engineering of the experimental University Rafael Maria Baralt and of the Experimental National University of Armed Forces ( 24 students each). This research is framed in the positivist epistemologic approach, specifically quantitative, whose purpose is the one to describe, to explain, to control and to predict knowledge. For effects of the case of study questionnaires were applied to techniques of data collection such as the direct observation, which could be validated using the statistical method known as coefficient crombach and the validity of the content by means of the technique of qualitative consultation directed to academic experts. The obtained results indicate that the students have very little previous knowledge on calculation and control systems. The other results declare that the professors use instructionales strategies limited in the education process learning. The design of the didactic model was constituted by five (5) Phases, being in its application, the greater academic index corresponded to the experimental group with respect to the percentage of approved students and average of notes. The didactic model was successful; it fulfilled the assignment for it was created: to elevate the academic yield of the students in the subject.
