摘要：

A problem of interest, in this paper, is statistical inferences concerning the common shape parameter of several Pareto distributions. Using the generalized variable approach, generalized confidence intervals and the generalized tests for testing the common shape parameter are given. An example is given in order to illustrate our procedures. A limited simulation study is given to demonstrate the performance of the proposed procedures.
