The 25th annual conference on financial economics and accounting was held at Georgia State University’s Buckhead Center on November 14–15, 2014 in Atlanta, GA There were 450 papers submitted for the conference. (160 in Accounting and 290 in Finance). 36 papers were accepted for presentation at the conference (18 each in Accounting and Finance) after a rigorous review process that resulted in an 8% acceptance rate. The result was both exciting and outstanding. This conference has become one of the most prestigious academic conferences in finance and accounting nationally and internationally.
