摘要：
A study has been made of the conversion of methane/carbon dioxide mixtures on a vermiculite catalyst of composition 22MgO.22SiO2.5Al2O3.Fe2O3.4OH2O. It has been established that at 900-970-degrees-C with molar ratios of CO2/CH4 of 0.5-1.5 and contact times of 10. 5-21 sec the conversion proceeds quantitatively but the main products, H-2 and CO, are formed in varying proportions. An explanation has been given for the effect of the process parameters on the conversion and selectivity.
