An analysis of factors driving the reputation of financial centres' green offerings shows that factors other than transparency and disclosure carry greater weight. This suggests that transparency and disclosure are hygiene factors, necessary for a financial centre's baseline credibility in green finance rather than a factor driving the reputation of financial centres for green finance.
