Production inventory model for time dependent deteriorating items with production disruptions

The production disruption is a natural phenomenon of a business enterprise in the current era of life. The optimal production time play a crucial role for smooth functioning and optimizing the profit of a manufacturing industry. So in this paper, we consider the fact that the storage item is deteriorated during normal and disrupted production periods and developed a production inventory model for time dependent deteriorating items with production disruption in which shortages are not allowed and demand rate is deterministic and constant. The model is solved analytically to determine the optimal production time during normal and disrupted production periods. The solution and application of the model is illustrated with the help of a numerical example.
