摘要
This paper discusses the professional development of teachers with the elderly students, with the discussion of the experience and language as trigger devices. It shares the trajectory of a teacher in a literacy classroom for elderly students in a municipal school at a city in the inner state of Sao Paulo, for four years. The educational practice experienced as a teacher with the elderly students was established as a reference that is questioned critically, in order to enhance the professional development path. Action and experience act at the same time and appear as a stabilization point, it also represents a mode of opening.
