The peculiarities of forensic-histological examination of the corpse (or parts thereof) in the investigation of crimes

In article describes the main innovations of the procedure of organization and production of forensic-histological examinations. Presents the legal framework for the organization and production of forensic medical examinations at state forensic expert institutions of the Russian Federation. Presents a list of categories of criminal cases in which the production of this type of expertise required. Attention is drawn to the correct taking of organs and tissues for successful histological studies on various categories of criminal cases. The role of forensic experts in collaboration with the investigators or the court during the forensic-histological examinations and the possibility of further use of the results of this type of expertise in the field of criminal justice.
