摘要
The influence of impurities and temperature on the resistance of aluminum and copper was considered from the position of the electron theory of metals and order of their atomic structure. It was concluded that the main factor of influence of impurities on the electrical conductivity of copper and aluminum is cross-section for scattering. On the basis of the two-band model of the electronic structure it was suggested that the impurities have a different effect on the cross-section for scattering of electrons and holes in the polyvalent metals and this may lead to a rather complex temperature and concentration dependence of these properties.
