摘要：

The author describes the goals and aims current state and plans for the nearest future of the Russian Book Chamber. This national centre of bibliography, statistics, standardisation and researches in the book industry will celebrate its 95th year in 2012. A lot of data about Russian law of legal deposit, publishing statistics and the main types of national bibliographic databases and indexes are given.
