摘要：
The author presents the method of the explosive cutting of steel pipes of large diameter from 500 to 2200 mm, and wall thickness from 8 to 25 mm. Linear shaped high precision charges were applied for cutting process. During operation pipes may be completely or partially filled with water. After the cutting process, the pipe surface is smooth enough for further operations, e.g.welding. The application of linear shaped charges for cutting shortenes the time of operation up to ten times.
