摘要
The authors have studied a class of retransmission control policies for multiple-access communication networks, using the asymptotic theory of stochastic recursive algorithms with constant gain. The efficiency of these policies has been quantitatively measured by the quality of tracking criterion introduced. It is shown that with proper selection of certain control parameters, these policies can be made extremely insensitive to errors in the feedback information caused by channel noise.
