摘要
The investigations carried out on the affectations caused by the antropic activity in the forests, have shown that these plants are strongly depredated regardless a number or specie to be use. For such reason the deforestation index of the forest flora was studied in the west transition area in the Biosphere Reserve Sierra del Rosario, Cuba for the incidence before mentioned, taking as reference point the community of Soroa which has opposite to the north with the Municipality of Deep Bay, to the south with the Community Candito Frio, to the east with the Municipality of San Cristobal and to the west with the Biosphere Reserve Sierra del Rosario. The results come from the sampling of 20 parcels, located at random in natural forests from the study area to different distances. In the same ones the taxonomical composition of the existent species was determined in the study areas and the proportion of the same ones by family, as well as the proportion of trees and existent bushes in the investigation areas, taking like reference the variables, diameter and height, being reached the conclusion by the used statistical analyses that a high pillaging of plants exists for the incidence of the antropic activity.
