摘要
The present study was aimed at determining the attitude of college students towards research. It was based on input from Fishbein and Ajzen (2010), Morales (2007) and Triandys (1974), among others. From the methodological point of view it was classified as descriptive, with a non-experimental design, field and cross. The population consisted of 63 students LIGHT Core East Coast Lake. Data collection was obtained through a Likert scale instrument, which was subjected to content validity through expert judgment and internal consistency was checked by means of item- total correlation. Reliability was determined through Cronbach Alpha method resulting in a rtt of 0.9678. Data were analyzed with descriptive statistics resulting in an average of 56.26 in the cognitive component which falls into the category unfavorable attitude. Regarding the affective component reaching an average of 60.05 in moderately favorable scale was obtained, indicating that students have little interest or like research. The behavioral component in the study population provided an average of 60.93, which indicates that students are fairly available to the research process. As for the variable under study, integrating the three components, an average of 60.93 was obtained, which indicates there is a moderately favorable attitude of students toward the research process.
