摘要：
This paper describes parallel implementations of two algorithms for Linear programming on a network of transputers: the revised simplex algorithm, using the explicit form of the base inverse, and the primal-dual interior point algorithm (PDIP), applying the logarithmic barrier function. Two versions of the PDIP algorithm are discussed. Test results show a significant speedup on our final implementation of the PDIP algorithm over the revised simplex algorithm Also discussed are possible improvements for the PDIP algorithm.
