The church in the francoist prisons (1936-1945)

The present work is an approach to the work developed by the Church in the francoist prisons. Work of indoctrination that it tries to socialize to the inmates, by definition opposite to the postulates defended by the catholic church, in which they will be the fundamental principles of the new regime, the bases of the national-catholicism. In order to describe this process, we will approach the development of the religious practice inside the imprisonment centers and the contents and mechanisms used in the propaganda. As it contrasts, we will also analyze how she was received this propaganda by its addressees, the prisoners, and to the image that they transmit to us of the religious and the paper that play within the jails.
