摘要：

Analysis of fracture surfaces under short-term and long-term bending shows an increasing role of tangential stresses in fracture under conditions of long-term loading. It has been found that when developing rapid methods of life prediction, it is expedient to investigate the kinetics of shear cracks rather than mode I cracks. © 2002 Plenum Publishing Corporation.
