Using high-frequency ultrasound (1.7 MHz) for oxidative processes in aqueous media

摘要
The kinetics of oxidation reactions involving highly reactive oxygen-containing radicals generated in situ in an aqueous medium under the action of acoustic cavitation (1.7 MHz) are determined using the example of p-chlorobenzoic acid. It is shown that high-frequency ultrasound is more energy-efficient for sonochemical reactions than low-frequency ultrasound.
