摘要
The work describes the methodological approaches implemented by the Geological Mining Historical and Environmental Park of Sardinia (Italy) in the process of identifying the areas, artifacts, and significant elements of Sardinia’s mining activity with significant historical, cultural, and environmental merit worthy of concrete protection and conservation actions. A methodological approach in which alongside the concept of context, necessary to define the identification of areas, artifacts, and significant elements of mining activity, additional criteria, and indicators were adopted to describe not only spatial and temporal aspects but also those esthetic, historical, and cultural. The adoption of these criteria and indicators has allowed us to start a process of safeguarding, protecting, and planning interventions that allow the application of specific rules, integral parts of the park self-regulation, for authorization procedures that vary according to the specificity of the identified themes.
