New composite indices for development co-operation

Richard Jolly argues that a new approach to development co-operation will require a much broader set of objectives and a broader range of indicators to monitor progress towards them. He suggests how the monitoring of development cooperation needs to cover results in relation to objectives and performance in relation to commitments, both for developing and developed countries. © 1999 The Society for International Development.
