Abstract: Methods for introduction of modifiers based on the rubber of waste tires into asphalt concrete mixes (ACMs) and features of the “Russian dry process” (RDP) modification of asphalt concrete (AC) with powder modifiers (PMs) prepared by high-temperature shear grinding (HTSG) of tire rubber or cogrinding of tire rubber with thermoplastic elastomers are considered. An approach to the evaluation of the effectiveness of modification by rheological tests of “model binders” prepared under conditions close to those for ACM producion is suggested. © 2021, Pleiades Publishing, Ltd.
