Three new subgenera, Gervillaria (Platygervillaria), Isognomon (Iranognomon), and Mytilaster (Persiaster), and seven new species, Gervillaria (Platygervillaria) alifera, Isognomon (Iranognomon) arkelli, Inoperna (Inoperna) striata, Mytilaster (Persiaster) ancestralis, Astarte persipulla, Orthotrigonia fazli, and Gissaromya abramovi, from the Jurassic of Iran are described.
