Yellow fever is an acute infectious viral disease, which is caused by the yellow fever virus. Currently, a new epidemic of yellow fever has occurred on the African continent beginning in Angola and spreading over to the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The World Health Organization (WHO) provides support for the countries concerned with mass vaccination campaigns. © 2016, Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg.
