We summarize the results of simulation studies investigating the asymptotic behavior of the quantile correlation test of del Barrio, Cuesta-Albertos, Matrán and Rodríguez-Rodríguez for normality based on the L2-Wasserstein distance and comparing of the power of this test with that of other tests for normality.
