摘要：

The Lucknow Urban Sprawl map for 1972-92 and land use/land cover map of Lucknow area for 1992 were prepared from the satellite imageries of different time period. The analysis has revealed that Lucknow City has been growing at a faster rate especially during the last decade. Most of growth has been towards north-east and South-West direction along major transport routes. © 1997 Springer.
