Abstract: We consider the optimization of the short wave phased antenna arrays as a quadraticprogramming problem. The penalty function method and the gradient ascent algorithm areapplied to analyze the structure of the set of local optima. The results of the proposed algorithmare compared with those of the well-known BARON solver. © 2021, Pleiades Publishing, Ltd.
