Electrical properties of the LaLi0.1M0.1Fe0.8O3 − δ solid solutions (M=Mn, Fe, Co, Ni)

The electrical conductivity (in the range 77–1073 K) and Seebeck coefficient (300–1073 K) of the LaLi0.1M0.1Fe0.8O3 − δ solid solutions, where M=Mn, Fe, Co, and Ni and δ≥0, were studied. It was established that these solid solutions are p-type semiconductors and that their electrical conductivity increases with increasing atomic number of the element M. The results obtained are interpreted in terms of the small-radius polaron hopping model.
