On common unital divisors of polynomial matrices

摘要：

We establish a condition for the existence of common unital divisors of polynomial matrices over an arbitrary field, with the divisors having a prescribed characteristic polynomial. The results obtained are applied to find a common solution of matrix polynomial equations. © 1999 Kluwer Academic/Plenum Publishers.
