摘要
We present a galaxy evolution model to explain the galaxy number counts in B, R and K as well as the galaxy colors and their evolution in B-R and R-K. Basic ingredients in the model are the galaxy luminosity function and the type mix determined from our Calar Alto Deep Imaging Survey (CADIS). The model reproduces the galaxy counts in B and R and the galaxy colors in B-R far beyond the limits of our own CADIS number counts. Together with the comparison in Kthis can be interpreted as the effect of the evolution of individual galaxies.
