We prove that \documentclass[12pt]{minimal} \usepackage{amsmath} \usepackage{wasysym} \usepackage{amsfonts} \usepackage{amssymb} \usepackage{amsbsy} \usepackage{mathrsfs} \usepackage{upgreek} \setlength{\oddsidemargin}{-69pt} \begin{document} $ \bigtriangleup $\end{document}-matroids associated with maps on compact closed surfaces are representable, with the space of representation provided by cohomology of the surface with punctured points.
