Pediatric epistaxis is a common condition; however, recurrent, severe epistaxis can herald a serious underlying cause. A 14-year-old male presented to the emergency department (ED) with significant epistaxis. After failing conservative management, pediatric otolaryngology was consulted. Imaging was consistent with a juvenile nasopharyngeal angiofibroma (JNA). Advanced management and workup of epistaxis is described. Physicians should consider JNA in teenage males who present with recurrent, severe epistaxis as well as symptoms of unilateral nasal obstruction.
