摘要
Synchronous presentation of female genital tract malignancy is common, but not so common with in situ lesions. A female presented with ovarian mass with grossly normal uterus and underwent staging laparotomy. Incidentally, she was detected to have serous endometrial intraepithelial carcinoma (SEIC) with high-grade serous carcinoma ovary on histopathology. Immunohistochemistry panel helped in the confirmation of diagnosis. Thorough examination of uterus and other adnexal structures along with ovary is advisable in a case of ovarian carcinoma and vice versa, to rule out synchronous neoplasms.
