摘要
This paper presents arguments for the existence and dynamics of one-dimensional odd dark beams of finite length in bulk Kerr nonlinear media. Their characteristic mixed edge–screw phase dislocations force them to steer in space. The modulational stability of these dark beams and one possible interaction scheme are discussed.
