Mobility Control for Machine-to-Machine in LTE Systems with Cooperative Relaying

摘要
In this paper, we propose a solution that would guarantee the quality of service (QoS) for machine-to-machine (M2M) communications in all cell regions and power zones of long term evolution networks. To avoid the negative effect of the co-channel interference at M2M devices at the cell edge, we propose a mobility control (MC) scheme based on cooperative relaying. Considering the signal-to-interference ratio gain and lifetime, the proposed scheme allows M2M devices in the cell edge to achieve high spectral efficiency. Simulation results show that the MC algorithm under the cooperative relaying scheme provides better QoS compared to non-cooperative conventionnel M2M networks.
