Simultaneous effects of slip and heat transfer on peristaltic transport of magnetohydrodynamic third order fluid in an asymmetric channel is studied under the assumptions of long wavelength and low Reynolds number. The asymmetry is considered by choosing the peristaltic wave motion on the walls to have different amplitudes and phase. © 2012 African Mathematical Union and Springer-Verlag.
