摘要
An epigroup is a semigroup in which some power of any element lies in a subgroup of the given semigroup. The aim of the paper is to characterize epigroups which are locally E-solid in terms of “forbidden” epidivisors, in terms of certain decompositions as well as in terms of identities. As a subclass of locally E-solid epigroups, epigroups which are locally in semilattices of archimedean epigroups are also described from different points.
