摘要：
A new approach to the role of surveyors in the design-survey process for a hydraulic construction project is described. Four stages are considered: the acquisition of data relating to the interactions between the proposed structure and the environment; and optimization of the engineering survey; geological-engineering investigations; and selection of the most effective procedures and methods for the design and construction stages of the hydroproject.
