The social and economic risks of the development of information technologies

摘要：
A wide range of potential negative consequences due to the use of information technologies in the social, economic, scientific, and technical spheres are considered in this article. It is shown that the problem of risk is a part of a more general problem of technological risks. The goals and objectives of sociotechnical design and social evaluation of technology as a new interdisciplinary scientific field are formulated. It is shown that information uncertainty is an environment that leads to risk. The proposals and the most urgent tasks in the study of the range of problems that are connected with the risks of the evolution of information technology are formulated.
