The formation of strip profile and flatness on a 2500 hot-rolling mill is analyzed. Profil 2500 software is created to support the shaping of the working rollers in the finishing cells, taking account of the current state of the supporting rollers. This software is used at OAO MMK in roller preparation. © 2008 Allerton Press, Inc.
