摘要
This paper presents a dynamic resource allocation technique for multicast service in multi-antenna based OFDMA system. The simulation result indicates that the proposed method provides 7–33 % improved performance in terms of subcarrier and data rate allocation for each user compared with previous achievements. The SoC implementation of this proposed method gives a maximum transfer rate of 400 Mbps by setting-up of a 40 MHz bandwidth. Real-time signal processing of this MIMO-OFDMA transceiver architecture utilizes the techniques of pipelining, concurrent processi ng and latency minimization. For MIMO detection, the MMSE based V-BLAST algorithm is used in a 4 × 4 configuration. This architecture is based on the dynamic partial reconfiguration concept which provides greater flexibility and adds new abilities by utilizing the existing hardware and does not need any additional hardware. It is implemented in a 90 nm CMOS technology on top of the MOLEN reconfigurable processor and demonstrated in the Xilinx Virtex 5 FPGA platform. It consumes less power and area compared to previous implementations.
