摘要
The therapeutic application of whole-body hyperthermia, whereby the body temperature is for a short time raised to 43-44°C is currently considered quite promising. However, body temperature above 42°C also raises the risks associated with hemodynamic instability and arrhythmia. A model of heat transfer is built to improve the efficacy and safety of the immersion-convection technique of whole-body hyperthermia. The model takes into account the changes in skin blood flow and the dynamics of heart rate depending on body temperature. It adequately reflects the processes of heating in the organism and can be used to calculate the heat distribution in the body. © 2006 Pleiades Publishing, Inc.
