Application of scenario analysis in the assessment of structural reliability of complex technical systems

摘要
This paper presents an approach for estimating the structural reliability of complex technical systems based on scenario analysis and the estimation of local and structural vulnerabilities of a system. Two basic methods for increasing structural reliability of technical systems (namely, increasing strength of structural components and improvement of the topology system through introduction of additional links) are compared for the cases of ideally brittle and elastoplastic materials. © 2015, Allerton Press, Inc.
