Modeling of the Influence of Hydrogen on the Accumulation of Defects in Steels Under High-Temperature Creep

We develop a mathematical model and software module for the evaluation of the accumulation of defects with regard for hydrogen diffusion. The process is modeled by using two methods: by the Kachanov– Rabotnov–Lokoshchenko equations with two parameters (damage and hydrogen content) and the energy approach. For this purpose, we use Bridgman specimens with and without regard for the influence of hydrogen. The results of calculations obtained according to these two approaches are in satisfactory agreement with the experimental data. However, the energy approach gives a twicesmaller error.
