摘要
Results of a study into the oxidative modification of lignite (brown coal) humic substances of the Tyulgan deposit are presented. The detoxifying effect of the obtained substances on petroleum hydrocarbons is analyzed using a bioassay method. The study indicates a marked increase in the detoxifying capacity of the humic substances associated with their chemical modification. The greatest detoxifying effect on oil-contaminated soils, amounting to 19 and 42% at doses of 0.01 and 0.1 wt%, respectively, is observed for oxidized humic substances. Conversely, the detoxifying effect of unmodified humic substances is significantly lower: 9 and 2 % at doses of 0.01 and 0.1 wt%, respectively. Thus, the viability of using oxidized humic substances as sorbent-detoxifiers during the phytoremediation of oilcontaminated soil is shown.
