The advantages of using analytical models of technological processes in thermal power station units are considered: both when developing simulator systems and when solving a number of practical problems based on them, such as checking the effectiveness of making changes in schemes and operating conditions, developing and optimizing startup algorithms, etc. © 2007 Pleiades Publishing, Inc.
