Laser radiation was established to have an activating influence on sorption during fire-protection treatment of textiles that accelerated sorption of fire retardants by 4-6 times. This enhanced the modification process. A more ordered fiber structure with high physicomechanical properties and reduced combustibility was formed. The oxygen index increased by 9.5-21.5%.
