Abstract: Parametric investigations of impeller blade geometry of a centrifugal compressor are carried out. The influence of the tip clearance on the compressor characteristics is studied in order to increase its efficiency. The effect of the size ratios of various impellers on the compressor efficiency is investigated, and their characteristics are compared. © 2021, Allerton Press, Inc.
