摘要
An efficient numerical algorithm is created on the basis of the method of curvilinear meshes, the method of basis reduction, and the asymptotic Koiter theory. It enables us to study load curves to reveal singular (limit and bifurcation) points and to analyze their behavior at branch points. Such an approach allows analyzing the nonlinear deformation of shell structures of arbitrary form and their sensitivity to imperfections. The technique is illustrated by an example of a conic panel with imperfections in the shape
